In the effort to continue the hands on education our girls had the opportunity to be part of a veterinarian team. They interacted with real animals and then got to assist in a make believe dog procedure.

And just as with all the other adventures that we have taken our girls to experience, it was much fun for them and they learned very much from it.

We do end up having much fun at every educational day out. They are an adventure on their own.

They sure were able to interact and see how Vet do things. I believe they have a better understanding of the profession now.

We have done similar with our girls whe we got our puppy this past summer taking them to Vet checkups and such for her, too :)

What a great experience for the girls. I just TODAY signed my son and I up to volunteer at local animal shelters so that he can get some hands on experience with animals. We are unable to have pets due to allergies and asthma. I am hoping this is a good experience for him.

My granddaughter would have loved to do this. That's all she ever talks about is becoming a veterinarian. She loves all animals. Dogs, kitties, turtles just everything.
