There is nothing like hands on experience, children leaner so much by seeing the real thing. We recently took the girls to meet the local Firefighters, they got to see and touch the equipment, they also were so happy that they had a chance to go inside a Fire-Truck.

Today we are sharing a pictures of our girls fun experience with the FireFighters

Hi Jay,

It looks like the girls had a lot of fun! When I was still a newspaper reporter I had to go take pictures of all of the Fire Fighters in our county and was able to take my girls with me. They loved being able to use the firetrucks as jungle gyms and trying on the fire-suits and masks. My brother was a Hot Shot one summer and we were able to tour the Forrest Service Fire House as well. My girls still talk about both all these years later!

So great for kids. They learn to not be scared of the fireman or run and hide from them if they ever need help.
