It's a New Year
A New Year is Here!
For 10 years we lived in the Chicagoland area, back in December we hit the road looking to start a new Chapter in our lives, and starting a new journey. We arrived at our destination (Tio Tirsito's place) just before Christmas an while the trip was long and tiring, it was an amazing experience. Along the way we did a few stops, visited some great places and learn some interesting things.

Thirty-One Large Utility Tote Review-Giveaway
I was first introduce to Thirty-one items by a dear friend whom seems to love these products, yet at the time, I'm not sure if it was because of time or what, but I was just not paying much attention to her. Then one day I was invited to a party and just for the fun of it I decided to attend. I was really impressed by the quality of the products I was seeing.
Thirty One offers a variety and wide selection of products, the Large Tote with inserts (thermal or regular), and Top-A-Tote is just one set of the many items they offer.

Sweet Curdled Milk (Dulce de Leche Cortada)
If you have some milk that it's going bad, don't toss it down the drain, you would be surprised at to how great it can turn out to be.
This is a traditional dessert in Dominican Republic and other Latin American countries. And while at my house milk is a must, and would never go bad before we drink it all, I've learned to curdled it with lime, below is how.

Banana Smoothie on the GO
As we are on the road, with no kitchen at our disposal, we have to come up with some source of healthy snacks or like in this case beverages that can be done on the go. This is simple and easy, yet very yummy and a great source of fiber, plus Kira enjoys it very much.
